Discover Wildlife Watching Events In UK

Wild & Green has just made it easier to find out about wildlife watching events in the UK this year with the launch of its Wildlife Events Calender.

The calender has brought together details of:
  •  various wildlife festivals
  •  special one day wildlife events and celebrations
  • year long festivals such as The International Year of the Forest in 2011
  • information on all year round events run by organisations such as the RSPB and Forestry Commission

Wildlife Watching Event

Guided Walk In Galloway Forest: Red Deer Range 
The Galloway Forest in Dumfries & Galloway, SW Scotland, is where you can join a guided walk with the chance to see red deer, close to, in their natural environment.
The walks have an 11am start time and will run on:
Tuesday 21st June
Thursday 23rd June
Tuesday 28th June
Thursday 30th June 
Location: meet at the Red Deer Range car park, just off the A712 and 5 minutes from Clatteringshaws visitor centre. Charges apply (£4 per adult).
Booking not required.

Big Urban Wildlife Watch in Norfolk

Norfolk Wildlife Trust are running a Big Urban Wildlife Watch this coming weekend, June 4th and June 5th encouraging people to record the wildlife they spot during a 24 hour period in certain parts of the county.
